Attracting Good People Into Your Life and Indigos
Ralph Smart of Infinite Waters on Youtube had an amazing video yesterday titled How To Attract the Right People Who Are Really Meant to Be In Your Life. I learned a lot from it. He said that when people do what they are happy doing, they will attract the ones who appreciate them. This is similar to what Teal Swan said in Belonging and How to Belong, that when you start to let yourself fully show up. and no longer hide the part of you that you fear will be rejected, you will attract like minded people! You will no longer have to live in hiding of your full self. So, no more nine to five jobs that depress you and leave you with no time to have a personal life. Check.
He also said that starting to be vulnerable, and share your life with people. can make instant friends! I love this idea, such as going up to people and saying, "hey you know what happened to me with my ex-friend?" And then you will have a friend for life, as he says. He cracks me up, because this is such a foreign idea to the society I live in, where so many are ashamed of coming across as weird or being unaccepted. I really do hope that one day this will be the norm on the streets, though. It has happened to me a while back, I commented to a stranger that I had the same shirt as her at home. Lol. She lit up, and began telling me some personal tales about how she bought it, and then went into detail about her job, etc. I realized that she was just interested in having a companion on this subway ride, and I was happy to provide that for her. I still did not feel comfortable talking about myself, and I didn't say much. But that was okay. She walked away from me thanking me, and I realized she must be a special person to appreciate every little person who speaks to her.
There was also the importance of eating healthier, which he brings up in every video- with a 7 day vegan challenge. He said food brings people together, so sharing your food journey with people helps. I liked the idea of talking about relatable things with people to bring connection. I try to control how much unhealthy food I eat, and always set out to eat vegetables with every meal. I also do not eat as much meat as I used to, and I have noticed a big change in fatigue-ness, and feel lighter. When I do indulge on the sugar though, my body changes and I feel weighty and awful. I use less fatty oils and processed ingredients in my food. My shopping cart is mostly filled with fruits and vegetables, yay!
Another thing he said was that when we act weird, we are being ourselves, and that'll either attract or push others away. I like that a lot, being that I always has a weird side, and like to get into weird discussions of theories and abstractness. I appreciate that my husband does too.
In a video titled 10 Signs You Are An Indigo Child or Adult, Ralph Smart says that us Indigos always knew we were different, That is because we did not come here to fit in, we came to stand out. If you don't belong in the world, you are meant to Change the World. I always felt different, and was busy as a child trying to figure out why people acted the way they did. He says Indigos may come across as strange and different, and are mocked because of it. We are misunderstood a lot. Yes man, right on. But it is a strength because it tells us what we can do. I no longer feel I have to conform to others' way of life, and am doing it my own way. I have never felt happier.
